Rockettes Summer Intensive Audition

On 2/18/17 I auditioned for the Rockettes summer intensive (RSI). It was like no audition I have ever been to before. The audition was in the Rockettes Practice room in New York city and there were about 100 girls. All girls were wearing bright leotards and nude fishnet tights. Two RSI alumni and Rockettes taught us 3 different combos, Jazz, kickline and tap. My personal favorite was the tap combo. The jazz combo was a piece of New York at Christmas from the Rockettes Christmas Spectacular. At first it was hard but after a while I got it. The tap piece was a cute combo that was like six eight counts long. I found it easy and picked up on it fairly quickly. The last piece was a kickline piece with a bunch of different kicks and botmas. That was also fairly easy but very fast. After we were taught each combo they made us do it in groups of three. It was very fun and I hope I get in! Im hearing back by April 1st
